Listed below is a brief explanation of our core beliefs at LifeChurch about all things related to our faith in Jesus Christ.
Our Beliefs
The Bible
We believe the scriptures are inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind.
The Trinity
We believe there is only one true God revealed in three persons: Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
Jesus
We believe Jesus is God’s one and only son. He was both human and divine.
Fall of Man
We believe though originally good, man willingly fell to sin ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world.
Millennial Reign of Christ
We believe in the Millennial Reign of Christ when Jesus returns with His saints at His second coming and begins His benevolent rule over earth for 1,000 years. This Millennial Reign will bring the salvation of national Israel and the establishment of universal peace.
Ministry
We believe a divinely called and scripturally ordained leadership ministry serves the church. The Bible teaches that each of us under leadership must commit ourselves to reach each other for Christ, to worship Him with other believers, and to build up or edify the body of believers–the church.
Salvation
We believe that every person can have a relationship with Christ through salvation if we accept His forgiveness for our sin.
Repentance
We believe that repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
Sanctification
We believe that sanctification occurs at salvation and is not only a declaration that a believer is holy, but also a lifelong process of separating from evil as believers continually draw closer to God and become more like Christ.
Jesus’ Blood
We believe that the Blood that Jesus Christ shed on the Cross of Calvary was sinless and is 100% sufficient to cleanse mankind of all sin. Jesus allowed Himself to be punished for both our sinfulness and our sins, enabling all those who believe to be free from the penalty of sin, which is death.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a deep encounter following salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service just as it did in the New Testament. The initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues, as experienced on the Day of Pentecost.
Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. The Bible lists of these gifts are not necessarily exhaustive, and the gifts may occur in various combinations. All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives. These gifts always operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of biblical parameters.
The Church
We believe that the church has a mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin. We believe the church is the Body of Christ and consists of the people who, throughout time, have accepted God’s offer of redemption.
Two Sacraments
We believe and practice two commands: water baptism by immersion after repenting of one’s sins and receiving salvation, and holy communion as a symbolic remembrance of Chirt’s and death for salvation.
Healing of the Sick

Heaven
We believe and look forward to the perfect new heaven and the new earth that Christ is preparing for all people, of all time, who have accepted Him. We will live and dwell with Him there forever following the millennial reign on earth.
Hell
We believe a final judgment will take place for those who have rejected Christ. They will be judged for their sin and consigned to eternal punishment in a punishing lake of fire.
Second Coming
We believe in the blessed hope when Jesus raptures His church prior to His return to earth. At this future moment in time, all believers who have died will rise from their graves and will meet the Lord in the air, and Christians who are alive will be caught up with them, to be with the Lord forever.
